I don't get to shoot in Devou very often but it is always a quick reminder to see why so many love it! It was a pleasure to meet this beautiful senior for her portraits and she was a trooper with the heavy winds and brisk air.

Karah, thank you for taking the time to walk the park with me. I hope you have the best year and that the transition to college is a breeze! Congrats on senior year! ~ B

The Hulme Family ...

I was so excited to meet this lovely couple. They've known my husband for some time so when they called me to shoot maternity photos I was thrilled. We chose the nature center because it best fit what they were looking for, so my husband hopped in the car with me for this one and off we went. We were lucky enough to get a lovely November evening as they await the end of year delivery of a sweet babe!

Katherine and Matthew, I had a great time wandering the center with you guys! It was so nice seeing the joy in your relationship. You truly are a special couple. Thank you for allowing me to photograph your portraits! ~ B

Kendal, Class of 2021

What do the Roebling and the Brent Spence bridge have in common? Major traffic congestion and closures! That's what they have in common. Despite the back up we were able to hit several spots and still managed great portraits out of it. This beautiful senior, her lovely sister and sweet momma all trekked along for the journey. And not once did we hit a snag that held us back. We ended with lovely weather and all!

Kendal, thank you for allowing me to photograph your portraits. I hope that you're able to enjoy this year and that you are lead to the exact right place next year! I wish you great luck as you go! ~ B

Olivia, First Birthday ...

Sweet Olivia and her parents met me at French Park for a quick shoot to document her first birthday. This beaitiful girl was toddling as if she'd been walking for months. It always amazes me how quickly kiddos change and this age is one I genuinely love. Olivia easily reminded me of why. Happy first birthday sweet girl! I am sure you'll be running in no time! Rachel and Sam, thank you for letting me photograph these portraits for you guys, you have such a sweet kiddo! ~ B

Caroline, Class of 2021 ...

I have had the pleasure of knowing this family since I took their middle daughter's portraits in 2015 and let me tell you, they are among the most genuine of people. When it came time to take Caroline's photos, I was so happy when her beautiful mom called. We wandered through Eden Park together on a ridiculously nice November evening.

Caroline, I hope you have a terrific senior year! Wherever you end up will be lucky to have you! Thank you for allowing me the time! Chris, thank you for asking me to take Caroline's portraits and for always being so good to me! It was so nice seeing you both! ~ B

32 degrees and 8 o'clock in the morning and this lovely senior showed up with a giant smile. Brooke persevered through the cold that proved this gal's prowess on stage because you'd never know she was freezing by looking at her portraits. It came as no surprise to me that she is as talented as she is kind and truly a pleasure to meet.

Brooke, congratulations on senior year! I hope that all goes even better than your plans and look forward to seeing what your future brings. I am sure it's a bright one! All the best! ~ B

Many of my senior girls worry about wind during their sessions. I always explain that, usually, we can make it work and it ends up helping to add "flow" to a photo. On this shoot, we had wind like I had never had it before but this beautiful senior didn't miss a beat. Not only was there wind but the temperature was frigid and you wouldn't know that by looking at her photos.

Kylie, I enjoyed shooting your portraits and am so glad you persevered. Thank you for allowing me the time. I hope you have an amazing senior year! Wishing you all the best! ~ B

When your senior loves a particular kind of architecture and has played music on the stage at Music Hall you make sure to center his shoot around those places. We found ourselves walking from Music Hall to Saint Peter in Chains and then to Cincinnati Museum Center. We walked and talked a ton.

Heather and Nathan, thank you for allowing me to take your portraits. It was a pleasure meeting you both. Nathan, I hope that your senior year serves to be the best, albeit strange, yet. I trust that your many experiences so far are only just the beginning for you. Looking forward to seeing where you go. ~ B

Cincinnati Nature Center is full of beautiful spots. Especially this time of year. It never surprises me when my seniors want to shoot here. This particular night was chilly and grey but none the less beautiful. This stunning senior and her wonderful mom were troopers as we spent a couple of hours wandering the center. As I edited her photos it was easy to see how naturally at ease this kiddo is. Her athletic and intelligent nature easily rounds out part of what makes her cheerful and warm to chat with.

Maggie, thank you for allowing me to take your senior portraits. Your worry over posing was unfounded because you fell so naturally in your shots. Not to mention, the hints of a Cindy Crawford look alike, in them. :) I am so grateful for the time. I wish you the best as the year goes on and look forward to hearing where you end up! Congrats on senior year! ~ B

The Rhodes Family 2020 ...

This gorgeous family decided to change up family photos this year and meet in Covington for a quick shoot. While it was brisk, Covington views did not disappoint ... the houses, the brick alleys, the street lamps, the leaves ... seriosuly, perfect!

Rhodes family, it is always a pleasure! Thank you so much for meeting me on the river! Wishing you many blessings! ~ B ☺️
