Gabe and Brooke ...

Gabe and Brooke ...

What can I say really? These beautiful people rose with the sun and met me at French Park for engagement photos. Now they aren't just your standard, run of the mill, beautiful people ... they're the kind good enough to love on someone in your life in a big way. So when you are lucky enough to be asked to shoot photosfor them, you hop at the chance. It was so easy to see the genuineness that passes between them and has me thinking to their wedding next year. It's such an incredible season they're in and Brooke and Gabe, I wish you all the mad love you can take and loads and loads of patience for the moments when "mad" is more literal and a little less "love".

Thank you both for allowing me to take your first family photos for you. All the best! ~ B

Green Awnings and the Dirty Desert ...

I am always thrilled to see this beautiful family! This kiddo has one of the most vivid imaginations and mom and dad do an amazing jib fostering it. I am so lucky to hear many awesome stories about the adventures Sol comes up with. And even more so this time to get to shoot them at their beautiful home in a perfect spot.

I only wish I get to see you outside of your shoots more. looking forward to a Covid free life soon! Coffee's on me! ~ B

Okay, sometimes everything works with you every ounce of the way and you walk away knowing it'll take forever to finish the photos because there will be too many good ones. And I am not one to part with many photos. This shoot was one of those; from the incredibly vibrant sunrise, the few people up and moving, no construction and the rain holding off until we were done (within 15 minutes of it). Crazy! Not to mention, Audrey was a breeze to spend time with. I am so grateful her mom reached out because they wanted a setting that was important to Audrey and they picked a perfect spot!

Audrey, thank you for entrusting me with your portraits and Cori, thank you for granting me the time! I enjoyed the time with you two so much. I hope you have an incredible year and wish you great luck. If you do end up studying hospitality, I'd love to hear where you wind up. From a former hospitality professional to a future one ... I wish you all the best and then some. ~ B

The Ratliff family met me at the Cincinnati Nature Center for a quick shoot with their pups. The adorable duo were so well behaved and it was so nice spending time with them. It was so easy to see the love that ran between them, all of them. And such a privilege to document this season.

Thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful pups. I hope the coming days and months are filled with beautiful moments!

All my best ~ B

Lucas, Class of 2021 ...

Lucas, Class of 2021 ...

Lucas is an avid golfer, and has not missed a day of it since quarantine. Meeting him for senior photos on his home course was a no-brainer. We managed, while dodging other golfers, to find a couple of great spots to shoot. Lassing Pointe Golf Course was picturesque as a backdrop on such an incredible October day.

Lucas, it was a pleasure meeting you. What a blessing to have two parents that worked so hard to pick the best spot for you. I'm looking forward to hearing your plans after graduation. Whatever and wherever they are, I hope they include lots of golf! Steve and Barb, thank you for allowing me, I truly enjoyed meeying you three.

Wishing you all many blessing in this season! ~ B

Tiffany, Class of 2021 ...

Tiffany and I found ourselves walking a quiet but busy OTR for some simple but beautiful spots. Once that gorgeous Autumn sun started to come down we headed to Smale for the Cincinnati icon, the Roebling. Funny how quickly we lose light these days but that didn't matter, Tiffany looked amazing through it all.

Tiffany, I had a great time meeting you and your wonderful parents. Thank you for walking, without question, the many avenues with me. It was a pleasure! I hope you have a terrific senior year!

All the best! ~ B

Maria, Class of 2021 ...

Maria met me at Sharon Woods where we were greeted by the vibrant colors in the trees surrounding us. The incredible surroundings were perfect for this senior who towered within it. The day could not have been better!

Maria, it was such a wonderful shoot with you. Your heart for life is evident in the words you choose, the joy you emanate, and your genuineness. Thank you to you and your mom and dad, for choosing me to take your portraits. I am so grateful you did. I hope your senior year is riddled with success! Best wishes ~ B

Samantha, Class of 2021 ...

Washington Park and Ault Park were in store for this senior. And both places offered ample places, as always, for great shots on an evening that was a rare warm in October. Beautiful skies and a vibrant sunset rounded out a perfect evening.

Sam, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for walking with me and allowing me to take your portraits. Good luck with the rest of Cross Country. I hope your senior year is a banner one! Best wishes! ~ B

Sabra, Class of 2021 ...

Sabra, Class of 2021 ...

The Art Museum was the perfect place to start with this columnesque senior! We had another lovely October evening to enjoy and many Cincinnatians seemed to feel the same as Eden Park was riddled with folks walking, running or scaling the old reservoir walls. It was so nice to see the trees turning and have that Autumn color come so naturally into our evening.

Sabra and Jaychele, thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to shoot these portraits. I am so impressed with your tenacity in life, Sabra. Your tendancy towards trying new things and just jumping in is admirable! I am looking forward to seeing where it takes you!

I hope you have an incredible year! Thanks again! ~ B

Madison, Class of 2021 ...

Madison, Class of 2021 ...

The lovely Madison, her wondeful momma and I met at Yeatman's cove on a close to perfect Fall day, which included a superb amount of sun and grey cover. When we wound our way to Smale those skies gave in to temperamental clouds which painted Cincinnati in a way that added depth to every corner. While other folks headed in, we stayed out to use what little light was left for a some drama in our shots. I think it played out very well as evidenced by the gorgeous sunset we witnessed! Regardless, I enjoyed the time and am so grateful, Madison and Dana, that you allowed me the time. I hope you have a wonderful year, thank you so much for entrusting me! ~ B
