Engaged in the Queen City ...

Every once in awhile you get to shoot something impromptu, that was the case for this surprise engagement. The happy and emotional expressions are genuine and the joy was definitely contagious. Marriage is such an incredible gift and I find so much pleasure in seeing folks decide to take the plunge. All too often, you hear about the challenges that come with it, how it needs to be taken so seriously, and there is definitely weight and truth to those, we all have our seasons, but marriage in its truest, most genuine form is unexplicably beautiful. I'm thrilled that these wonderful folks are so excited about their future together. Ryan and Carly, Congratulations on your engagement! I wish you loads and loads of unlimited joy and year after year of an abounding love. Thank you for allowing me the time! ~ B

The three boys in this family are among the sweetest, most adorable, chill kiddos I've met. I first met them when the oldest was a teeny guy himself and now he's grown well into his role of big brother. It amazed me to see how similar each of them are but also how wonderfully unique they are.

L & J, Thank you so much for allowing me to spend time with your beautiful family, yet again. Each time, I am genuinely find myself smiling throughout the shoot. Your boys are absolutely gorgeous and so incredibly sweet and you two are such unbelievably dedicated and wonderful parents. I wish you all the absolute best in life! ~ B

Helen ....

Most newborns pass the time with serious sleep during their shoots, not this sweet girl. Helen was awake and very interested in what was going on around her. Her head would naturally turn to the click of my shutter and she'd furrow her brow in an attempt to focus more. This sweet babe's easy going disposition was so peace inducing and her wonderful parents made for an easy morning. Eileen and Ben, thank you for allowing me to photograph you guys and your beautiful daughter, it was such a pleasure. ~ B

September usually brings some cooler weather for shooting, that wasn't the case for this Tuesday evening shoot downtown. Temps hung in the 90s with the lovely Cincinnati humidity for our entire time but this beautiful senior and her mom, didn't have one complaint. We enjoyed wandering downtown Cincy and Eden Park and had a ton of pictures as a result. This gorgeous senior was a natural in front of the camera and her laid back, energentic personality shone through. Grace and Donna, it was truly a pleasure walking this out with you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity, I look forward to seeing what the year brings for you all. ~ B

I met this gorgeous senior and her beautiful Mom on a perfect morning in Washington Park. I always love early morning shoots because it always seems so much quieter and you can take in the city just a little bit longer before life erupts for all into it. We enjoyed a stroll around OTR and the Park and then made our way to The American Sign Museum for a second location to shoot. It was truly enjoyable shooting in a differnt way and the neon lights offer such a unique perspective for images ... every angle a different light or different color. Not to mention, the company I kept, all together, made it a lot of fun. Tori and Gina, it was a pleasure meeting you both. I had such a great time with you guys, thank you for allowing me the privilege. I am sure this will be a great year, I'm looking forward to see where you choose to go! ~ B

I have decided to take full advantage of the sunflower fields this year and so I am ecstatic anytime someone will meet there for a quick shoot. This wonderful family did just that and I can't say enough great things about them. Their handsome little guy was wonderfully inquisitive and incredibly bright. He couldn't have fit more perfectly amidst the flowers. Thank you guys for the time, it was a pleasure meeting you all! ~ B

I always look forward to the sunflower fields this time of year. While I wish they were around longer, I think it genuinely makes one appreciate them more, knowing time is limited. And when you've got the chance to shoot in them, it's a no brainer. This sweet girl was such a pleasure to shoot. Her big brown eyes perfectly matching the sunflowers on a perfect evening where just one step in a different direction would change the light entirely. Melissa & Jeremey, I am so thankful for the time with your beautiful family. Thank you for allowing it with your beauty! ~ B

This little beauty is always so much fun to shoot. She has a nature that keeps one young and her parents are such a breath of fresh air. Our time in French Park was so enjoyable and it's always so wonderful hearing what the ideas swarming around in this sweet girl's head. Sweet Lyla, thank you for running amok with me, it is always a true pleasure!

When a friend asks if you'd be available to take some casual photos of her handsome husband and his violin you jump at the chance because you get to spend more time with them AND have the sweet sound of strings in your ear. It was truly a pleasure my friends! ~ B

The Lang Family ...

This beautiful family of seven and I wandered around Ault together on a blistering hot but beautiful night. These kiddos didn't let the heat get to them, all five in happy moods and excited about having their pictures taken, poised and ready at the sound of a click. It was so evident to see how much they enjoy the company of one another and the level of patience these wonderful parents exhibited was astounding, clearly the strength behind the whole operation. :) It was a pleasure listening to the shared stories between the kiddos and walking with them. Lang family, I genuinely enjoyed meeting you seven, thank you for taking the time on such a hot night! I wish you great adventures and much love in the coming years! ~ B
