The Pendleton neighborhood of Cincinnati is a favorite area of mine. It was the perfect spot to meet this handsome senior for pictures. If you haven't been in awhile, I encourage you to go. The streets are lined with so many wonderful restaurants and hidden murals in the alley ways just flip the switch on an otherwise quiet part of downtown. Ethan, his Dad and I made our way easily around and finished up at Smale for the never disappointing Roebling.

Ethan, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you so much for the time. I am excited to hear where you end up. Meanwhile, I am not so secretly, rooting for UC. Go Bearcats! ☺️ Congrats on senior year!

Downtown was the perfect spot for this striking senior. We wound our way from Lytle Park to Fountain Square, finding many great spots and enjoying the oddly quiet streets. The light was perfect as it dipped between the buildings and encased the surrounding windows in glimmers of gold. Raygen fit in so perfectly with this urban backdrop and it was only made better by the massive clouds and colors that exploded at our session's end.

Raygen and Stacey, it was so lovely walking with you two. Thank you so much for allowing me to shoot your senior portraits. I know the school year is beginning in an odd way but I truly hope that it becomes memorable to you for so much more than this! Congratulations on senior year! Best wishes! ~ B

The Cincinnati Nature Center is always brimming with beauty. No matter the season. The night of this shoot was a quiet walk on a typical Summer evening but like so few places, the CNC had us navigating our way around gorgeous monarchs and a plethora of beautiful hummingbird moths! I always see something new here in this perfect backdrop.

Kenna and Megan, it was wonderful meeting you both. Thank you so much for the time! I hope this year, despite its current M.O., is the absolute greatest one yet! ~ B

This bright eyed beauty and her family met me on a calm night at Ault. She was an easy going babe who was so interested in the happenings around her. Her sweet baby blues were an easy window to her emotions.

Rachel, Sam and Olivia, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you for the time. You've got one precious kiddo who, I'm sure, will be running in no time. ~ B

Every year these fields spoil us with color and this year I was lucky enough to meet a beautiful friend and her gorgeous girls there for quick photos! Candace, I cannot believe how quickly your girls have turned into young ladies, nor how much your heritage can be seen in them. Thank you for giving me the time! Love you my friend! ~ B

I spent time with this lovely and talented senior throughout downtown. We started at the Aronoff, a fitting spot for someone who loves theater. The weather was perfect with the occassional breeze to cool us off and we ended up with so many great shots!

Claire, thanks for letting me follow you around with my camera. ;) I truly enjoyed the time with you, your mom and your sweet sister! I hope this is an amazing year for you. I cannot wait to hear about your performances!

Isla

Isla

Sweet Isla! I quickly became entranced by this gorgeous baby girl and her canine pal, Stanley, is pretty smitten with her too. She is a charmer, with the sweetest grin and who adores her ceiling fan in the sweetest, most adorable way. I think if mom and dad keep a handheld fan nearby at all times, raising sweet Isla will be a breeze! ;)

Thank you guys, for the time. Your baby girl is breathtaking!

I met this senior on the steps of the St. Peter in Chains Cathedral. I thought the large columns and expansive steps would serve us well and I was not wrong. When Kathleen walked up in red, I knew we had picked the perfect spot. And that only rang truer as we wondered through the area. One of the reasons I love longer shoots is that it allows my seniors to naturally become at ease thus enabling me to take photos that would more reflect their character in front of the camera. This gal proved just that as she fell so effortlessly into place, occassionally singing a small quip in conversation with an expression that never eluded her.

Kathleen, if was so wonderful shooting you. Thank you for choosing me and allowing me the time. It was a pleasure working with you. ~ B

These three beauties are off to college in the Fall and while this has them heading in a little different of a direction, there is no doubt in my mind that they'll always be connected. Girls, congratulations on graduation and to the start of college. I wish you guys the best life has to offer on the journey. ~ B
