Caroline, Class of 2020

Caroline, Class of 2020

The echo of the geese flying overhead could be heard for many moments before their position in the sky revealed. The Nature Center was particulary quiet this evening and though the sun was out, the temperature was not quite as unbearable as in weeks past, which clearly signaled the inevitable change. It was a beautiful evening to walk with this lovely senior and her mother. Caroline, it was such a pleasure meeting you, thank you for giving me the time. I hope that the rest of your senior year is wonderfully memorable. I look forward to hearing where you end up! Best wishes! ~ B

Ellie, One Year ...

Ellie, One Year ...

It is said that time is a bandit. That we blink our eyes and decades pass. I know most would agree with me that we can see this clearly in the rearing of kiddos. Sweet babies such as Ellie, a newborn one minute and a one-year-old the next. This little red cheeked beauty, each time I've seen her, is among the most laid back of kids and so fun to shoot. Eileen and Ben, it was so good to see you three. Thank you again, for allowing me to shoot photos for you guys. Your family is such a beautiful one. I hope that while the coming years with Ellie will pass in a blink, that the good memories among them are generous! ~ B

Homecoming night! It is a night so many teens look forward to around here and so it came as no surprise that when we arrived at Ault Park for this shoot, on what would be homecoming night, so many other kids were already there. We manuevered our way through and around a couple hundred of these folks taking pictures throughout the park but this wonderful senior didn't miss a beat and her photos prove it. Sydney, you were a picture of ease and grace and I'm so grateful you allowed me to shoot your portraits. I hope your year is full of great joys and riddled with possibility. ~ B

Over-The-Rhine is always so full of life, regardless of the time of day and week, so shooting there is always a plus, you never know what you're going to encounter. And so it was with this gorgeous senior and her beautiful Mom. We made our way around countless blocks and hit so many of the gorgeous murals that make OTR such a unique spot. It was a positively good time. Lily and Lisa, I genuinely enjoyed meeting you both. Thank you for allowing me the time! Lily, I hope your senior year proves to be an amazing one. Looking forward to hearing where it takes you! ~ B

An urban shoot on one of the hottest days of the year did not slow this guy down. We met at Smale for this shoot at 6:30, when the temp was still 101 degrees and the blacktop only made it feel hotter. We made our way around the entire park before succumbing a little early to the heat but I enjoyed the time no less. Alex and Melissa, thank you for allowing me the time with you both, despite the heat I genuinely delighted in the time. I hope that senior year holds many great experiences for you, Alex. ~ B

Off to College ...

Sometimes you're just lucky enough to make great friends in middle school and even luckier to have them by your side at graduation and into college. These three girls have been that for each other. It was a pleasure shooting them as they prepare to head off to college together. It was a pleasure shooting three of you. I wish you great luck on your this amazing adventure! ~ B

The sunflower fields always bring such great opportunities for photos, so I was so thankful when this wonderful family allowed me the opportunity to photograph their beautiful daughter. Adam, Tara and Lyla, it is always such a pleasure seeing you guys. Thank you for granting me the time. Hope we can catch up again, soon! ~ B

New Baby Bryn ...

New Baby Bryn ...

This sweet girl wasn't even 24 hours old when I was lucky enough to meet her. She is a sweet addition to an already beautiful family. Big brother was quick to watch everything that was happening, as his eyes would shift swiftly between Mom and baby, not fully willing to share Mom yet. I'm sure it won't be long before these two are fast friends and fierce advocates of each other. Bryn, welcome to the world beautiful girl! I have no doubt you'll feel the vast amount of love that surrounds you, sweet baby!

Shawn and Tiffany, congratulations! Thank you for allowing me the time, again! I wish you guys the absolute best there is! ~ B

Anna ...

Anna ...

A perfect evening at the Nature Center, that is what we ended up with for this shoot. Wildflowers everywhere, a slight breeze and sun glowing golden as the clouds would pass, creating a different look with every spot we would land in. This is a favorite place to shoot because each time ends up so different than the other.

Anna, it was a true joy wandering the center with you and your beautiful Mom. I can't believe your senior year is upon us. Thank you for allowing me the time and entrusting me with your photos. I look forward to seeing what this year brings you and your wonderful family! ~ B
