When a friend asks if you'd be available to take some casual photos of her handsome husband and his violin you jump at the chance because you get to spend more time with them AND have the sweet sound of strings in your ear. It was truly a pleasure my friends! ~ B
This beautiful family of seven and I wandered around Ault together on a blistering hot but beautiful night. These kiddos didn't let the heat get to them, all five in happy moods and excited about having their pictures taken, poised and ready at the sound of a click. It was so evident to see how much they enjoy the company of one another and the level of patience these wonderful parents exhibited was astounding, clearly the strength behind the whole operation. :) It was a pleasure listening to the shared stories between the kiddos and walking with them. Lang family, I genuinely enjoyed meeting you seven, thank you for taking the time on such a hot night! I wish you great adventures and much love in the coming years! ~ B
Life with a two-year-old and a newborn has got to be an exhausting season but these two parents make it look like a breeze. Hard to believe just two years ago I was taking photos of Alaina as a newborn. These girls are beauties and the level of energy Alaina exhibited made me wish I could bottle it ... the girl doesn't stop moving, something that will serve her well in life. Sweet little Aria is going to love watching her big sis!

This delivery was greatly anticipated. Mom and Dad worked hard to curate a plan that would fit well with their desires and we all prepared to welcome this sweet baby into the world. Angela (Mom) had connected with me months ago about photographing the labor and delivery and I was so thrilled to do that for this wonderful couple. We had decided that Angela would keep me posted but that I would ultimatetly hit the road about the time labor was moving into contractions at 5 minutes apart. Well, as life has it, things didn't go exactly the way we had imagined and this sweet girl, daughter number two, was delivered into the loving hands of her grandmother, as midwives and myself were still en route. To say that I was shocked when I arrived to see baby on Mom's chest would be an understatement but the smiles just couldn't stop. It was such a pleasure listening to Grandmothers and Mom and Dad recount the moments that led up to her brisk birth and I cannot say enough how amazed I am at their collectedness in the process. Angela is someone I know to be determined and creative, so it doesn't surprise me in the least that she was able to use these two great characteristics to the umpteenth in delivering her beautiful daughter, while her incredibly supportive husband and her own wonderful mother and mother-in-law went into action to bring this baby safely into this world.
Angela & Josh, thank you so much for allowing me into this vulnerable and beautiful season with you guys. While I wish I could have gotten those images of the process for you, it was a privilege to document the "after" arrival of this sweet bundle. It has been a pleasure knowing you and the love that passes between your entire family is a beautiful thing to witness. ~ B
An evening at the Cincinnati Nature Center with this stunning gal was a wonderful treat. We were lucky to have a clear evening for a change and found ourselves easily walking the center as we covered several miles on our shoot. If asked to describe this beauty in one word, I'm sure many would choose tall (her height is certainly not average) but in talking with her it's easy to have many to choose from; kind, intelligent, engaging, talented and genuine would top the list for sure. I can't say eoungh how much I enjoyed the time with both she and her wonderful Mom. I am so thankful to have met you guys. Nicole, I am excited to see what the future has in store for you, it is evident you'll be impactful in whatever you do. Every time I shoot this sweet boy I can't stop smiling. One look at his beautiful cheeks and eyes and you can't help but fall for him. This time I was lucky enough to shoot his first birthday party filled to the brim with sweet friends. It was so enjoyable watching these kiddos have fun while on this side of the lens, Little Einstein music, tasty cupcakes and all, though Adyn's first impression of cake was a little different :).

Every single time I see this sweet baby, I cannot get enough of him; those gorgeous eyes, perfect hair and kissable little baby cheeks ... I can't help but smile. This session his serious side came out, so curious about where we were shooting and all things outside of my camera but it didn't matter, that sweet boy still stole the show. Not quite sure how his gorgeous parents manage life outside of him, because who could say "no" to that face?! This November cold did not stop this handsome senior from having a great shoot at Smale Riverfront park. We were lucky we had sun though. Such fun wandering the whole riverfront with he and his gorgeous Mom. It was easy to get amazing shots of this guy, beyond photogenic and that gorgeous red hair, not that I'm partial or anything. Kyle, thank you for allowing me the time. I'm so grateful your wonderful family saw fit for me to shoot your senior photos. Looking forward to seeing what's in store for you! ~ B
These three wonderful people are among the most kind folks you'll ever find. I have been lucky enough to know them for several years now and we met for photos at their beautiful home surrounded by their beautiful acreage with sweeping views and hills and trees that were blazen with color. It was a lovely way to spend my morning and to get to shoot pictures of the gorgeous Lyla. This little wonder woman is not only adorable beyond words, she is about as spunky as they come, 100% keeping me on my toes and making me laugh anytime I see her.
